What code must I use if I want to create an order form on my website where people can order and/or request a product and/or services from the price list, the order form should calculate the total amount of the products/services requested, the VAT of 14% and add that to the order amount, Please help?

Dude. Seriously now. Are you expecting some wonder code that you can just copypaste into your site to do all of that in one go? Ha. Dream on mate, dream on.

It's fairly easy, involving html, javascript and a little php. If you know javascript then do a google, looking for examples of what you are trying to do, otherwise you will have to find someone to write the code for you.

Hahaha! You'll need to have some service-side code running for that to be feasible - think ASP.NET / PHP / Java (NOT related to JavaScript).

Have you considered looking at the existing e-Commerce CMS / modules out there? They should have that all built in.

Easier to just load the enitre db as a hash list into jason and then embed it into the page. That way no server side required ;)

He could do some serious Ninja Skillz and do the whole thing as WSL ;)

Easier? :eek: What if the size of the DB reaches hunderds of megabytes? Serializing that and sending it to each client after every single request would take ages...

(yes yes, I know it was supposed to be sarcasm... :p )

WSL = Wage/Sex/Location? :D

hash list? Nah - HTML5 offline datastore would be better - and just as limiting. ;)

Lol. Dude, even if I had 1 post, my reply would've been the same. You cannot go around asking for some wonder code that would do x,y,z and build rome in one day while it is at it. It just does not exist. If he had asked something more specific e.g. how to go about calculating order totals using variable x and y, he would probably have a copypaste solution by now... or am I being a bit crude/rude/unreasonable here?

Nope.

its json, not jason..

*You* had to google it? Where do you think I got the name from?! (Hint: type Jason into the search bar and see what autocomplete provides...)

I mean Jason Derulo... :p The name Jason just followed from the whole conversation about jason vs json... Aaaaaaaanyway, I think you get what I'm saying.

EDIT: First suggestion in my search box (Firefox 4 beta) is Jason's Deli... Wonder what he sells...
