No, the up and up24 are of the same generation, the 24 has extra features to it. There's a new up coming out, but it hasn't hit our shores yet.

Does not compute... From what I gather, this arm band counts the number of steps you take, reports on your sleep patterns and... You can also share this info with your friends... R729?

I must admit that I did not read the whole thing, so what am I missing?

My phone can do this for me but its pointless... I removed the app.
