Jay Vandenbree is the Senior Vice President of the Home Entertainment Division for LG Electronics, covering all of LG’s Home Electronics Sales, Product Marketing and Strategy in the U.S. He oversees a multi-billion dollar portfolio covering a wide range of consumer electronics products from televisions and Audio/Video products to Computer monitors and peripherals. Vandenbree’s key responsibilities include go-to-market strategy, investment recommendations, product development and channel strategy, in order to deliver both revenue and profitability goals. Prior to that he held positions as Senior Vice President for Sales in both Home Electronics and Home Appliances and Senior Vice President in Go to Market Operations responsible for process, procedure and staffing for internal operations including Pricing , Promotion, Trade and Supply Chain Management. He has been with LG since September, 2009.
Prior to that Vandenbree spent 23 years at Sony Electronics, with his last position as president of consumer sales. He was responsible for Sony Electronics U.S. consumer sales strategy with the company’s retail partners and direct businesses. His portfolio covered a wide range of consumer electronics products from televisions and digital cameras and camcorders to computers and blank media. Vandenbree’s key responsibilities include strategy, P&L, development of both current budget and mid-range planning and delivering both revenue and sales office profitability.
