Those speeds are considered pedestrian by overseas standards. That just shows how backwards we are.
That's about the same price as fibre in South Africa. They told me its a fibre line. They pay $50 a month for a 150mbps line and a 1000GB data. Wow...
Doesn't that $50 include limitless phone calls?
Isn't Canada the one where you also pay to receive calls?
Cellular at least anyway.
I don't know about phone service, but it does include a TV service(OPTIK TV). The provider is Telus.Doesn't that $50 include limitless phone calls?
I also don't know...Wonder why you still being served Helkom ads. Those speeds look delicious
It is compared to that. Now compare it to Telkom.
No. Even 100mbps is considered fast for all countries. Even South Korea. Those speeds are considered pedestrian by overseas standards. That just shows how backwards we are.
Send me a link for that. The cheapest I can find for 100mbps in South Africa is on Vox Telecom, the 300GB deal for R750.That's about the same price as fibre in South Africa.
Sure, the top speed is impressive but it's easy to crank up the speed when you're on fibre. The real measure of value is how much data you get.
R0,70 per gig is pretty pedestrian even by ZA standards and you'd wipe out that cap in under 24 hours if you downloaded flat out.
A Porsche gets boring pretty quick when you only put 10 litres of fuel in each month.
Where?nothing to be jealous of
I pay R400pm for 100/100mbps uncapped connection
