Why do these seem to be so rare? :confused:
And when you do find one for sale (or even an older CJ for that matter) the asking price is typically around the same as a much newer Wrangler such as a 2000 TJ.

I'd really love an old Wrangler, personally I think the YJ is the best looking model, but not enough that I'd pay the same amount for one as a 10 year newer vehicle.

I'm wondering if they're in demand by collectors or something?
 
That's the one yea.. I'm not really clued enough to tell from a photo if it's kit or not though.. ;o

It has the square headlights which is one of the very noticeable differences between the YJ and the other Wrangler models.. I prefer square headlights.. :p

Also MacGyver drove a YJ Wrangler so that's gotta count for something. :p
 
Hi Redarrow, I have a 1989 YJ Jeep Wrangler, Original For Sale, Great condition, I redid the seats in Genuine Leather, new carpets, still has the 4.2l straight six engine.
