Jelly Bean and Google Now

Has Anyone got an idea when jelly bean and google now will be available. Got a HTC One X with ICS and no jelly Bean update yet.

You're gonna be waiting a couple of monthst, but hopefully not as long as the wait between GB and ICS since JB is more similar to ICS than ICS is to GB

I don't think a long time, since samsung will update the gs3 to jellybean sometime in August.
Got one myself and I'm anxiously waiting for the update as well.

on another note,
I was able to play with the jb and google now on my Desire Z and love it!

Think you misread your info, read the other day that the complete Galaxy range; S2, 3, Note only Q1 2013 after the Note 2 is released with JB. If ICS is anything to go buy we in SA will be lucky to get it officially by Q1 2020

Although Samsung will be rolling out JB updates in August/September, we would however probably only get it sometime next year since we have to wait for Vodacom/Mtn etc. to release the updates.

You will however be able to upgrade early if your phone is rooted, leaked/customised Roms should become available soon.

Oh, I'm sorry,

if we are only getting updates in 2013, then I can't wait.
I was under the assumption that once samsung gets the updates rolling in August we should have it,
gonna root and install cm10 preview 9 jb as of now.
Carriers suck.

I don't think I have ever waited around for carrier updates. Way too impatient.

HTC HD2, Asus Transformer, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Note All on JB via CM10 Preview. No waiting for me.

think I will hold off till its out of preview. have it on my nexus and other than now which I probably wont use much, nothings really dif. Certainly not worth the bugs of a preview release.
