Hey guys,

Anybody able to help me trouble shoot issues with a Jet-Air air conditioner inverter?

I set the unit to heating mode set the temperature to 24, fan on lowest setting. Device goes fine for a while, but then it just stops. I switch it off, on again nothing. I leave the unit like that for a while thinking it will start again when the room temperature drops, but it doesn't (have another thermometer here).

Any suggestion or tips?

And if you set it to, say 30?

My unit was usually a bit off with it's temperature, but I suspected it was because it was installed pretty much against the ceiling.

If I set it to 30, then it does starts up

24 is rather warm, it'll reach that temp quickly, if you want it to run longer and create more heat set the temperature higher.

Not fussed about more heat, just that another thermometer still shows the temp as 22.

I have a baby in the room who is not well, so as per instruction from the doc, keep the room at 24. But this aircon doesn't want to play ball.

Maybe I am wrong but I thought I could set a temp and the aircon would maintain that itself?

It does but they aren't always very accurate, find the balance to what aircon temp makes the room 22. Try 26 on the aircon and see how that goes.
