Jetta 5 bumpy ride

I have no problem with it being done to other cars. I myself enjoy looking at a beautiful car. But I will never do it to mine since I buy it for driving not sitting and watching it stand outside my window :p

The problem is a lot of vehicles are coming in stock form with low profile tyres.
That's fine in a first world country with smooth roads but not around where I live.
I like James May's take on the matter : James May on: low-profile tyres

Meh,I'm not even going to bother reading that because well.....its james may AKA CAPTAIN SLOW!:p

Seriously though the handling advantages of a wide low profile tyre over a narrower high profile tyre mean that yes you sacrifice a bit of comfort but you gain that much more in safety especially in tight situations and at higher speeds.

I don't have a Niki Lauda arse so I'm not too picky when the profile of tyre would affect my comfort in a ride as much as worn shocks or a dropped car does...

Thats just the thing you don't need to be an engineer or even understand engineering to enjoy all the engineering features of your phone, similarly you don't need to be a racing car driver or fast driver to enjoy the extra safety suitable tyres provide the average Joe on the street.

In fact it even makes sense to make sure people who don't understand vehicle dynamics have the safest possible tyres to minimise user error.I rate it as a good thing that car companies are seeing the light and not shipping out cars with biscuit tyres as standard trim.
