Well i bought a sparkle GFX card, everyone was going on abt how my 3d scores were gonna be bad, and how it would never runproperly.

Welli paid R1100 less than my buddy who got the gigabyte version, and guess what i kick his ass, in 3D Mark, in frames on quake, but i suppose it depends.

You have the same pc's ? How much you beat him btw ?

DONT BUY JETWAY

There are all a little slower than the standard cards and I have had many problems with the JETWAY brand products. Yes they are cheap, but stick to better known brands.
why so few people report problems? like soulburner mentioned, he has sold many jetway cards with NO problems whatsoever. i myself have owned 1 or two, i forget, but the cards didnt break, pack up or underperform until i sold it.

same can be said of chaintech. they are well known for their budget parts. but my 6600gt has performed beautifully till the day i sold it. why pay more if the cheaper thing works just the same? sure, pay more and have "peace of mind" but in my experience even the really expensive things blow up and break.

its all about preference. same with the AMD and intel war. people will always choose sides, but in the end it doesnt really make a difference.

It boils down to being comfortable with your choice, whatever it is ...
Jetway, Chaintech, ASUS, GigaByte, MSI or Powercolor ... so long as you happy with your purchase, and it does what you want it to ...
And if it bombs out, or you have some bad experience well rack it up to experience and start again ...

One way to look at it, they ( The makers ) must all have some quality level and this level would seem to be that the majority of the people buying the product are satisfied, else they go under ...

Right you guys are buying\selling the odd card a week, I sell between 35-50 cards a week over many different brands the cards that get returned most offen are; Chaintech, Legend, Powercolour, Sprinkel, Gecube and Jetway.

Same for mobo's
Chaintech, Gigabyte and Jetway.

well, then i guess its law. person says those brands are crap and dont work.

maybe person should inform the manufacturers of these faulty devices since they probably do not know that they do not work. because it makes perfect business sense to produce products that do not work because the masses are more likely to buy things that do not work.

guess i will have to return my trusty powercolor radeon 9000 pro which is 3.5 years old. shame, he was doing so well.
