Hey guys, I recently won a competition to the Blackberry10 Launch in JHB and a Blackberry 10 phone, i was wondering if anyone else would be going to the launch and if anyone would like me to post my thoughts and photos back here after the launch as i will get to demo and test both models that are going to be released.

Yes please. I am very jealous that you won the #Blackberry10JNB competition on Twitter, congratulations.
 
Cool will do will give my thoughts on the touchscreen version, i love physical keys so hopefully the z10 can convert me :)
 
Well don't care much about BB but for some reason I'm jealous

Hey guys, back from the launch, we only had hands on with the z10, after a good few hours with the phone i can say wow! The screen is amazing, i have a bold 9900 and have used my friends iphone5 and i can say the z10's screen is so crisp its rediculous!
The OS is super fast, responsive but takes quite a while to get used to how quickly u can multitask and use the gestures, i have a playbook which is sorta similar but bb10 takes it to a whole new level, was suprised at the amount of apps they had on there which is awesome! The phone is the perfect size, not to small not too big i love it :) The browser! wow i was really suprised at how fast the browser was no lag or artifacts or checkering like you get on previous blackberries, flash on a browser is my favourite and just makes bb stand out for me <3 keyboard, im not a fan of touch screen keyboards and it did take me a while to get used to the bb10 keyboard its definitely better or on par with the iphone keyboard and after typing sentances over and over again it does infact learn where ure fingers hit letters to help make u more accurate over time <3 All in all i was realllly blown away by the z10 and the job blackberry has done with there new OS and phones :)

I really can't wait any more. I heard a rumour that the Blackberry distributor will have the phones in SA by 14 Feb...

Did you get your phone you won.I heard they where giving free phones at launch BUT no body got them LOL
 
Yeah havnt gotten the phone yet, they're sending them out in the following weeks leading up to local availability n stuff, hating having to wait -.-
