Hi
Which stores in JHB can you recommend that are reliable and have good pricing....?

I'm specifically looking at this model:

Panasonic FT2

I got this model camera overseas and it didn't last 1 hour at the beach! The shutter button seems to be stuck and doesn't stop shooting. I think you may be better off buying a camera in an underwater housing

It's so up and down with peoples opinions. The thing is I don't want a big ass bulky camera. That is the point. Even the Canon D10 is too bulky for me. That said the newer FT3 has just been released and is looking mighty fine. I wouldn't really use the camera at the beach as I can just see the sand getting in everywhere (although it's not supposed to).

Maybe I will wait for a reputable shop overseas to stock the newer one and then go from there. Bloody amazon UK don't want to ship here

The Canon d10 and the Panasonic seem to outperform the other ones. If the Canon was just a little smaller I would've been all over it ages ago.

Take a look at the Kodak range, they are built very well and their underwater range is pretty cool.
