Jiaqi Sun is a research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan.

Jiaqi Sun joined Frost & Sullivan’s African ICT team in 2009. He focuses on analysing market opportunities in the sub-Saharan African business process outsourcing, contact centre and telecommunications industries. He brings in-depth financial analysis skills to the company’s ICT team. Before joining Frost & Sullivan, Jiaqi worked briefly as a junior consultant with SHIVA Capital GmBH in Germany, where he conducted market research into India and China. He focused particularly on the automobile and real estate industries. He also worked on a Chinese market entry strategy for the company. Jiaqi has been engaged on a number of significant growth consulting projects since joining Frost & Sullivan. He was part of the teams that examined the markets for VSAT VNO Solutions in Africa and the BPO market in Gauteng, South Africa, the MTC SADC Mobile Pricing Benchmark analysis and the SEACOM Data Modelling project. He also assisted on a project that compiled an in-depth analysis of international electricity pricing for a major mining company. He recently completed studies on the Nigerian Contact Centre market, the East African Mobile Communications market, An analysis of Survival Strategies for Fixed-line Telecommunications Operators in Sub-Saharan Africa, the mobile money transfer services in East Africa, the East African broadband market analysis, and A Market Update on Telecommunications M&A in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is currently working on the managed services and unified communications market in South Africa and Nigeria. Jiaqi is a mother tongue Mandarin (Chinese) speaker, and is fluent in both English and German.
