Jk8 vs Dolby

Nah - standard RSI.

But as I said, I'd be interested to see the difference between the two. I suspect a very close race - but others not :/ If I do - in fact - keep up with him to maybe a car length behind ... will guys start believing that I'd take him out at coastal where my car actually performs?

I've done a Gtech on my car and got a 9.2 an 16.6 ... Topcar got a 8.8 and 16.6. What's the Polo ... 8.5 and 16.3 maybe?

The Polo isn't a helluva lot quicker at reef, considering it IS a turbo against an N/A 1800.

Unless he tweaked the Polo, he will not out run you ;) They are crap arse lazy cars. :D

You have my vote. If you come come second with a car lengh you won by a mile :) Turbo vs NA.

If only I still had my Polo, I would eat these GTI polo's for breakfast
 
hehe ... awwww ....that's what I want to hear ;)

Many, many people think I can't get near the performance cars such as a Fiesta ST or Polo GTI. I'm just about with them (even slightly ahead in some cases) up at reef.

I'd just to prove some wrong :P
 
I once diced an RSi in my 330i that scared the **** out of me... was falling behind slowly until about 180km/h. Was it you?

You know, the figures just don't make sense to me. At reef altitude, I'm pretty even with a Fiesta ST.

A Polo GTI is quicker (albeit - not a huge margin) quicker than a Fiesta ST.

A Polo GTI should be quicker than me, but shouldn't drop me the way JK8 makes out.

Now he's saying he's quicker than a 169kw Volvo C30 which just off a GTI and Focus ST?
 
My money's on Dolby...simply becuase JK8 still did not produce the much needed Dyno slips!!!

hmmm... the polo isnt really the best to compare it to, its highly underpowered ! when the fiat group release there 1.8t's then it would be fun ;)

i saw an RSI get dyno'd had 5500km on the clock, stock standard. 117KW... seems more accurate. Owner was less then impressed !

and a 330i vs an RSi are you joking ? 330i can run with the Gti's and such more closely ! unless the RSi is torboed then it might be true :)

anyway, i know Dolby thinks i hate RSi's ! i don't i just think the power claimed is a little optimistic. They are quick for there engines non the less.
 
Would it not be easier to get a tape measure and ask them both to put it on the table?

Does anyone remember the debacle when the RSi came out? They were all underpowered.

it's the Volvo vs the polo read:D not the RSi any more...
