JMPD call centre hit by strike action

The Johannesburg Metro Police Department has confirmed its call centre has been hit by industrial action.

SAMWU members are protesting against JMPD chief Chris Ngcobo who has taken up office again after being cleared of mismanagement and corruption allegations.

SAMWU members from the JMPD hotline and the Gauteng Shared Services Call Centre will gather at the department’s Martindale head office on Thursday.
