What you will be doing:
• Managing Domains / Hosting / Cloud hosting department and infrastructure
• Ensuring Linux backups are up to date and restorable
• Handling escalations and support from customers and other departments, including NOC and Hosting
• Monitoring of system uptime and performance
• Assist in the design, implementation, configuration and maintenance of systems, applications and services both in the virtual and physical environments
• Performing routine audits
• System performance tuning and recommend fixes and improvements monthly for systems and interfaces
• Manage / Write system Scripts
• To maintain and administer all Linux cPanel servers - Software/Hardware
• To assist with the maintenance and administration of the Spam Firewall Servers
• Performing capacity analysis, forecasting and planning
• Training Staff
• Analysing system logs and identifying potential issues with servers
• Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments
• Performing routine audits of systems and software.
• Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
• Documenting changes to the environment
• System performance tuning and recommend fixes and improvements monthly for systems and interfaces
• To assist with the maintenance and administration of the Spam Firewall Servers - Software/Hardware
