Junior/Intermediate QA engineer
Salary: R10-20k negotiable on experience

A great opportunity for a junior/intermediate Quality assurance engineer, to grow with a small software company and will be working on a variety of projects for an UK client.
Job description:
Being involved in the planning of projects and retrospectives.
Design and create test cases in TFS per project iteration
Run test cases and complete test cycles on project iterations.
Creating Bugs and retesting the solution to ensure they have been resolved correctly.
Create and manage automated test cases for regression
Partake in continuous process improvement (QA and internal process )
Involvement in Daily Scrums
Participate in Defect reviews
Participate in tech Fridays and continued tech improvement.
Liaising with and testing Third party applications
SQL database queries
Excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of QA in Scrum
Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Services – Advantage
Prerequisites
Testing or IT related certification.
Minimum 1-2 years IT experience.
Experience with SQL Server- Advantage
Analytical thinker with attention to detail and ambitious for new technologies and willing/able to grow with a small business.
Honest, disciplined self-starter who can work partially unsupervised/autonomously in a flexible work environment.
Good team player with good communication skills, as there is often direct client interaction.
