Junior Software Developer Position
Introduction
The Sandton based company specialise in a wide variety of projects. In general we specialise in all aspects of E-Security. The main focus for the candidate at this stage would be a very interesting UAV project with drones, also a patented secure satellite connection project. It includes maintaining and updating the Auto Pilot system, reporting functionality as well as file transfer management over the satellite connection. C, C++, C#, Java and PHP are used together with Microsoft SQL Server.
Education & Qualifications
A qualification is not essential, although a BSc Computer Science degree (or similar) would be preferred, or someone with an engineering background. I am looking for a highly intelligent individual, which stands out from the average Joe.
Requirements
• 1-3 years of software development experience
• Knowledge of, or experience in the following languages:
o C
o C++
o C#
o ASP.NET
o Java
o PHP
o MS SQL Server
o MySQL Server
• Young & energetic
• Good multitasking skills
• Knowledge of IP Cameras & wifi networking
• Creation of reports
• Be able to handle stress well
• Focused an motivated
• Willing to travel to clients / demo’s from time to time
