Johannesburg declared most productive metro

Haha, are they measuring productivity in terms of income generate instead of actual performance? If that's the case then they've been on top for ages.
 
I really don't understand how Johannesburg is the most productive metro, they are corrupt to the core and are useless. My dad went there and within 24 hours was forced into a bribe and it isn't a isolated case (Link below). Whereas here in Cpt, I have never had any experience with corrupt cops and also to me cpt metro seems very productive with the amount of road blocks they set up, etc.

But people in Cape Town sit on their asses all day and do nothing. There in lies the difference!
 
It's not surprising Joburg is the most productive metro. Capetonians just sit on their backsides. Most of our work comes from Gauteng.
 
Do they mean the private sector, which is obviously most productive in Joburg seeing as it's the biggest city for thousands of miles in any direction and which succeeds despite government stealing the resources, or do they mean the actual municipal government here?

If the latter... God help us all. Government doesn't produce things... They must measure their success by how many employees they have, how big their budget is, how many bribes they take and how many people they inconvenience on a daily basis.

Not surprised at all. SA want to make Joburg the #1 province in all categories and they are doing whatever it takes. Even during the WorldCup, everything was run through Gauteng so this is no new discovery.

Keep it up, Cape Town is still cleaner though.
 
Lol well if the DA can hand out their own reports, I'm sure the ANC can hand out its own awards :D
