In some more random movie sequel news, it seems Joker 2, the follow-up to Joaquin Phoenix' Oscar winning movie - will be a musical and might feature Lady Gaga as Harley Quin... Negotiations are underway for Phoenix to reprise his role as the Joker.

Hopefully the Bane character from TDKR will return for this movie as well, surely he has a marvellous singing voice.

This will honestly suck. WB doing its utmost to murder what's left of the DCEU (which should have been built on Nolan's Batman!).
 
Why is everything turning into weird mash ups of random ideas?

I watched Chip 'n Dale Rescue rangers 2022 yesterday and it stabbed at the rapping scenes in these movies and how awkward the disposition is. That's despite Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers being a meta movie about meta movies.
 
Many are saying that Joker 2 is a fail.

One of the issues is that Joker regresses back to the weakling that he overcame in the first movie.
 
I just watched the trailer... I will give this one a miss.
