In South Africa it is called "recalled" if you are a president, "redeployed" if you're someone else in gov. Being recalled he won't have to answer questions or embarrass ANC as he is no longer president or employed by government. Why do you think people in government steal like crazy? No repercussions and when the **** hits the fan they leave the position to get redeployed elsewhere. It's the perfect formula for not caring if your hand gets caught in the cookie jar.

The Gupta family respond to today’s statement by Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Mcebisi Jonas (MP).

A Gupta family spokesperson said:

“These latest allegations are just more political point scoring between rival factions within the ANC. To be clear: any suggestion that the Gupta family or any of our representatives or associates have offered anyone a job in government is totally false.

“We challenge Minister Jonas to provide a full account of the supposed meeting that took place, under oath, in a court of law. Minister Jonas is attempting to cover up and divert attention away from his own relationships and practices. We are confident questions about his own ethical standards will be exposed.

“We will not provide any further running commentary on what is now just a politically-motivated campaign against us.”

Guptas ethical, Jonas crooked.

I want to put money down he won't be in parliament. If he can't make jokes, he'll either dig his hole deeper like going into a "I can't recall" or say he has memory problems or another illness. Maybe finally he breaks down and we found out he has AIDS and he even lied about showering to remove it as he already has it.
