Jonway Quality

Can anyone comment on the quality of Jonway bikes and scooters?
Never had one but I wouldn't have automatically put those two words in the same sentence. First glance, they look OK - better than Vuka. Reality? I'd be interested to know too.

If they are anything like Big Boy I would say the quality is terrible.

And I assume they are on par with each other.

Don't expect it to last forever. You get what you pay for remember.

Rather save for a Honda...
Vuka- very bad quality
BigBoy - a little better (limited spares available)
Jonway - a little better than BigBoy(also limited spares)
MotoMia - probably the better of the budget ranges...IMO

I've not got one, but my bro in law is on a bit of a campaign against them. This is from his facebook wall recently...

'I hate Jonway scooters, klomp bollie'

:D

Well, Jonway's warranty on their quad-bike (yes, quad-bike) is void if you take it "too far" off road. Or that's what an unfortunate friend's son heard.. Apparently they're only meant to be ridden on very flat surfaces, and a farm-road didn't qualify. (The whole bike started rattling very bad after only about 3 days of use on a farm)

OMW LOL... quad bike for tar road only. That's a laugh!

I know a guy that had a jonway 125 on/off road and he threw it away after 12months. Upto that point it was at jonway for repairs every month. Dunno about you, but I'd hate to be on our roads and suddenly the wheels fall off.... you'd surely be road kill. Rather dont take that chance.

Jonway sounds like the two wheel equivallent of chery
