Johnny Q showing his true colours?

"After we walked out in solidarity with our white colleagues who were ordered out and those who were excluded, we were referred to as 'coconuts' - 'black on the outside and white on the inside'."

A report by Chris Bathembu in the Citizen newspaper on Monday confirmed this. He was in the meeting.

This was also reported in the Rapport newspaper on Sunday.

"We are told that Jon Qwelane was one of the people who used this term," they wrote. We are of the view that the term 'coconut' is not only insulting, but discriminatory.

Anyone that didn't know that Jon Qwelane is a racist and an idiot must have been living under a rock.

So if JonQ is black on the outside and inside is he a turd?

I am preparing myself for an onslaught of responses in the press from the black intellectuals saying that this is OK to do, same way as it is OK for I Khoza to label people with the 'K' word on national telly because of how they think.

If it is OK for a black man to call another (the Arabic derogatory word for heathen),surely it is OK for a white man to call a black man( the Arabic derogatory word for a heathen)

Or is racialism the exclusive domain of the ruling party and it's followers?

Good old Jon Q. You can always trust him to show his true "colours" when he becomes flustered. :D

Anybody who has read his column knows him to be both anti-white and a raving Zuma zealot.

Its not OK, same way as its not OK for Irvin to label a associate the K word to a person.

this is just another scheme by the black elite too make the press even more anti-white than they already are, by making them feel guilty of something that doesn't exist.

If they win the case of racism, will the word "coconut" be deemed racist?

Either way, if the mnet show "the coconuts" is canceled, it'd be a good result.

its so pathetic for Khoza to even suggest that the word is used. He is an embarrassment for LOC and SA.

I think Khosa is in an identity crises.

He got the job. He became confused as to his race.

He should leave the(Arabic derogatory word for heathen)word for the ultra right wing elite.

They feel comfortable using it.
But then, they can also go to prison for using it.

lolol...Are you not feeling tired of posting "Arabic derogatory word for heathen" every time??...its a loooong sentence for one word...:D

I think it is more the derogatory meaning behind it than the actual word.

It would get increasingly difficult to express yourself if they continue with attaching derogatory terms to everyday words.
