Joystick for PS3/PC for Hawx

hey there

i want to give this Hawx and Hawx 2 game a go ( got very interested in flight simulation type games/airial warfare since i started watching Dogfights on History channel ), but i want to know what would be my best option?

should i go for PS3 joystick, or would these games be better on PC? and what joystick would you guys recommend for flight combat games?

Hey! When is HAWX 2 coming out?

I'm def gonna get this as I have the first one as well. Its not as good as AC but hopefully 2 is as good.

but i'm more interested in the gaming aspect of flight sim, that getting it as close to real life as possible.

I'm not a sim fanatic or anything, but HAWX is just too damn ridiculously arcade. The plane model may as well be a flying ak-47, if you know what I mean.

Using a joystick on it will be as useful as a steering wheel on the very first Need for Speed game.

ah, ok, but i see there might be a new fighter ace game comming out.

Any other recommendations on what games will be fun?
