who's watching this program. it's australia junior master chef. some of these cheflings will put some adults to shame.

Yup. I wonder if they were taken from school to cook for a life?! They are very good.

I watched a bit of it. Either times have radically changed or my childhood was warped.

When I was that age, for sure I couldn't cook, didn't want to cook, and didn't know what fondant, compote or jus was. These kids all know these things. Its seems very weird to me. Part reason i dont want to watch anymore.

Also seemed wierd to me... I was playing cops and robbers and stuck in the mud at that age.

When I was 12 the only thing I could make was cheese on bread in the microwave.

When you were kids, there were no TV cooking shows. Maybe these kids were inspired by previous masterchef's and then wanted to learn from there? You will get the few where their parents have forced them into it.

When I was 12 I was roasting chicken and making spaghetti bolognaise among other things so I dont think its strange for someone to be cooking at that age.

However those kids are a little strange.

Alot of pressure for a kid that age to go through.
Would not be surprised when they became young adults their lives spiral out of control.
