We are a growing travel company in Gardens, Cape Town and I am looking for a junior PHP developer to help me with maintenance and enhancements of current web applications and website and also building new and exciting applications. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and improve your skills under guidance and mentorship. We are looking for someone that wants to grow with the company. We have a great casual, relaxed and fun work atmosphere and this definitely won't feel like another sweatshop. The job will also entail a little bit of IT support for general issues in the office.
Requirements
- 1+ years PHP development experience
- MySQL
- Javascript/jQuery
- HTML/CSS
- Knowledge/experience in MVC
Bonus points for
- CakePHP
- Linux knowledge
- Bootstrap
- Experience working with APIs
- Basic Photoshop (slicing and dicing)
- Good eye for design (not a designer, but just someone that knows what looks good).
Salary: R10-15K CTC depending on skills and experience.
