Who are they?
My client, based in Woodstock, focus mostly on financial services software, which offers their developers exposure to the most complex, and most lucrative, area of software development. They are committed to designing elegant software, writing creative code and developing in line with best practices.
Currently they have an opportunity for a Tester to join their dynamic team of developers that is based with one specific client.
What will you do?
• Understand and interpret system requirements
• Create test cases that will enable comprehensive testing of aspects
of the system
• Interact with developers as well as to follow up on defects
• Assist with the preparation for other phases of testing, for example
user acceptance testing
• Prepare Test reports as and when required
• Ensure issues are escalated timeously and appropriately resolved
• Track faults and prepare metrics on faults
• Test software/system within timeline required and according to the
functional requirements
• Manage packages for release to ensure quality of software deployed
Can you apply?
• Matric & relevant tertiary qualification
• ISTQB certification a definite advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Software Tester
• Experience as a Tester on a financial services product an advantage
