Hi All,

This is probably a very stupid question and has probably been answered before and I just missed it, How come if you don't go over 3GB, does it not accumulate? Like for instance this month, it is the 26th already and I am only at 1.01GB so now I have to really kill the bandwidth with unnecessary downloads because I know I am going to lose the bandwidth soon and chances are next month I will have to download something vital and I would have been capped or something?

Has this been answered already? If so pls tell me what the reason is?

Thanks
Richard

Hi Richard

Yes, we have discussed this matter before, but there is only one answer. Because Telkom says so.

It's probably too much trouble for them to measure the "leftovers".

It is actually unfair, as we've paid for the bandwidth, so we should be able to use it as we please.

I've been waiting for this one. The reason is probably that it makes it difficult to plan capacity.

Having said that, cellphone network operators do allow a percentage of "free minutes" to carry over, for a limited time period, like 3 months. It is also possible to change the capacity planning algorithm to allow for this. You just have to know how. Telkom either doesn't, or doesn't want to.

I actualy wanted to ask that to but how does that work it should be carried over couse thats not fair first they bandwidth is expensive so they charge a **** loud for it and now if u dont use it its ur problem but we take ur money any way , AGHH i sepose buissness is buissness
