Right, I know this has absolutely NOTHING to do with vodacom broadband... but it has something to do with vodacom and right now I'm irritated (to put it lightly)...

I spent easily 3 hours on the phone earlier this month to get them to cancel a subscription to blackberry on my account which I didn't authorise and was told it was cancelled.. and I've just decided to look at my account for this month to see that its still there.... This is going to drive me absolutely nuts...

Oh and I loath and detest Teljoy(Vodacom Active).. bunch of lying idiots... Doing an upgrade on my phone... they tell me this subscription will disappear at the end of the month and that its free..... now I find out that this isn't the case... and I have to fight with 2 different companies to get this sorted out...

Usually I have no problem with vodacom's customer service... but on this instance... I have a huge problem... I'm the one whose not on the right here it seems...

anyway.. I just needed to rant about this for 2 or 3 seconds... Sorry everybody...

it's good to get things off yr chest... and at least it serves as a warning to anyone dealing with vodacom a.k.a. telkom :)

Actually to be honest... I am not entirely unhappy with vodacom about this, other than them being unable to get rid of the charge... my biggest gripe is with Teljoy for marketing the product incorrectly, or for giving me false information, because if i'd known that the blackberry subscription wouldn't go away after one month, i would never have taken that specific upgrade.

But yes it is good to get things off my chest.. and to warn people to not deal with places like Teljoy.

Yeah, that may be vaguely true... but then again.. you can buy a tv on HP for around about the same money as renting it from teljoy... but then thats just my take on the whole thing. I personally will never deal with Teljoy ever again, and there are more than a few people who frequent Musgrave in durban who can attest to that when I threw my toys out the cot in the shop on a saturday morning.. I must admit that was kind of fun, and the manager didn't know how to deal with it, esp since she was the one who "handled" my upgrade.

if you getting a cellphone deal DIRECTLY with VodacomServiceProviderCompany. dont go through these other service providers. thats just over complicating things and asking for hassles in my opinion.
