My telephone account says" U telefoon lyn" (Your telephone line) - so I am paying for a line. Then with adsl the R680pm is also called "ADSL Line rental" (not on the account though) - now I am wondering - where is this 2nd line I am paying rent for, as I only have one line coming to my house........................

As I understand it you have to subscribe to a normal Telkom line with adsl

doekvoet - you're absolutely correct. You're being charged for line rental twice, and they admit it openly.

The ADSL product states that part of the ADSL package is the ability to make phone calls while being connected, which implies that the ADSL product includes the ability to make phone calls.
