Just Fired The Parcel Guy!

We have footage on camera of him enjoying the missing cake, right there at his work spot....on the parcel counter......

Denial would have been futile....
 
The customer happened to be a low paid domestic worker, hence me feeling pity and compensating her ten fold with a far superior cake....and more of it to boot!
 
I think the is something wrong with him. For the sake of your business I would say fire him. But with so many people without work in our country, I would say if you can fine it within your heart. Forgive him and have one on one talk with him maybe he got problems.

Wrong country my friend.

Our young stallion of a man going by the name of Moose is in Namibia.

And screw forgiving him even if it was in this country, he stole from a customer, he deserves to be fired.

What if this was an elaborate scheme by some random customer in cahoots with parcel guy to elicit a guilt-ridden cake upgrade out of el-you and you unbeknownst to yourself at the time fell for it icing and all?
 
Heard this from a friend

From the labour course we did
2 employees at a local supermarket chain.
1st case - guy working in bakery - took a pie and put it in his backpack - caught leaving the store with food - fired for theft
2nd case - guy working in bakery is hungry, takes a loaf of bread and eats it in full view of staff etc, - also fired for theft - overturned by ccma - and dismissed with 1 months pay or something
2nd case he was unable to perform his duties due to hunger and met a human need - not being deceitful about it
dismissal was allowed as trust is broken - but had to be retrenched

My biggest problem is he opened a customer's bag and ate his/her cake. Which make me think this is not the first time him doing something like this.

Long week, I just read that you fried a parcel guy. Must be those buite braai posts I read.
 
I doubt the parcel guy would have risen to the challenge.

Fire his ass!
Then put him on the braai and burn his hands...just make sure there is no cctv around or someone filming you with a cellphone.
 
I have a very liberal policy in the store that all my workers are aware of....

If you are hungry or starving, come and speak to me and I will give you something to eat....but do not steal from me...I will catch you.....

Stealing from a customer is worse than stealing from you , it goes to the integrity of the store .
Fire the MOFO .
