Still strugling !! Pots filter and fax modem influence line speeds??
I got it working to a degree. I reflashed the modem to a prior version. Still the same. Restored Windows to 2 Sept...No luck. Now suspicion creeps in. Bad modem....or installation. Removed all items (again) used direct link with no pots Now things look promissiing again. Restored windows back to latest and re flashed latest modem sofware again beter results but still random on download. Looks like LM radio signals See link . Very spiky on TCPIQ test ??? Reinstall pot filter with no modem phone no difference...........??? can it be EMF or other disturbance ???, bad line Why would Telkom test at least give the expected results. What is going on ?????????????
