Hello,

Just installed my Mweb Uncapped!
Apparently my account is on the SAIX/Telkom IPC Network...

Here are some Stats....

The stats are quite low, but i am more than happy with a download rate of 200kb/s!!
I have done 3GB already...

I am busy donwloading a 5GB game and its going solid at 250kB/s and im very happy :)

MWEB put the accounts on the SAIX link
instead of SEACOM because they were
(are) having issues with it.

The speedtest site will give you speeds
for HTTP (browsing).

The speeds most people have issues with
are for gaming, torrents and video,
which are currently de-prioritised most of
the time.

I dont have uncapped, this is what im getting

Hi there, Just for interest sake.
I dont have uncapped, i currently jump between my telkom 5G's account and Afrihost topup's, When i download torrents after hours i get between 380 and 470 kb/s.

This is my speedtest. http://www.speedtest.net/result/924716256.png (Its not so great today)

Hope this helps :)

F***, I was thinking of signing up with MWEB to see if I can stream international videos(from NBA.com, NHL.com, NFL.com) but if what you are saying is true that they even DE-PRIORITIZE VIDEO, that is not good at all, I have to keep up with my games!! Sigh, where the F' I am suppose to go when it comes to a reliable ASP...it's basically MWEB or WebAfrica.

I have only had mweb for one day, but i can assure you - I was able to watch all youtube videos without buffering once at all.
It was awsum, and i have a constant download of 250kb/s during the day, and it will most probably move up to 350kb/s tonight.

One day isn't long enough to make
a decent assessment of the service.

This is a lie…I have 4mb uncapped with MWEB, I can stream most international HQ / HD videos fine. Just yesterday I streamed (via ESL TV) the HD stream of the IEM SC2 finals, no buffering or jittering. I don’t know where you come on this information but you need to get your facts right. PS-I play sc2 online (EU) and I haven’t experienced any lag so far.
