I just recieved my MSI 5870 from Titan-Ice.co.za and would like to thank Titan-Ice and Johan for helping me get this card. Been looking all over for a 5870. I didn't mind paying the prem :D

Going to jam some games and overclocking :D Hardware pr0n ftw

what processor do u have? i want 1 but i think my cpu will bottleneck.

post some 3d mark 06 scores or something when u can
 
@Silverlight- R5100- Expensive but I got a lekka work bouns so I don't mind. :D

@Dean- Phenom II 955 OC to 3.8Ghz- Yup it's that one. Was also out of mine but I sold my 2 4870's and saved R1100 for this one.

Big thumbs up to Titan-Ice.co.za, super service and speedy delievery, was suppose to take 3 days, it took 1!

well im jealous!! im considering the club 3d version, are they any good?

its alot cheaper...

Yeah they're fine, they just don't include some of the stuff other brands do. Nothing wrong with them at all. But when I say there is NONE there is NONE of these cards around, besides the ones at Titan-Ice(one left now) and the VaporX ones.

I've phoned just about every PC company in SA to find one and I waited 5 weeks until I got one so there are none man. :(

There aint a difference really between 2.1 and 2 as far as I know. :/
 
This thing is amazing. Wow. I'm blown away.

It idles at 50' and loads at 71. That's crazy, the fan is super quiet, It like spins up to 35% under load, can't hear it at all!

I overclocked it to 922Mhz/1100, running 3DMark06 and Vantage now. :D Will edit when I'm done with screenshots.

I'm still waiting for my Asus 5870 - what's the warranty on the MSI one?
 
Ta, not bad, same as the Asus - can get it for about R4400, so might just wait for stock then.

ARGGHHHH! Damnit dude, rub it in ... I've been waiting for 3 weeks for my Sapphire pozew ... looks like I'll be getting it next year ... sigh. Enjoy! :-)

Hahaha, I was also waiting for about 5 weeks and I just couldn't handle gaming on what I was running, so I was like screw it!

I did a Resident Evil 5 benchmark and was all maxed out, got 72fps average and 145fps max.

I'm so happy with this card, At first I couldn't justify the price for it, but, seeing the performance of this beast, It was well worth!!

I wanna do a Crysis test but I leant it out..:(
 
Sapphire, Asus, 5500 series stock only coming next year?! well thats what ive been hearing from just about every supplier.

Yeah, it's a worldwide issue with the chips, Axiz gave me many failed dates - and latest they said was 23 Dec but we all know that means Jan sometime at least :(
