Just got my wimax installed

Just got my wimax installed it took a bit longer as the promissed month, but it is finally here. Now I can cancel my adsl line and I don't have to worry about anyone stealing the copper according to the guys who installed it I have excellent coverage, they could easily see the tower from my house.

I assume it is Telkom WiMax?

Have a look around in these forums, the info to check your signal and everything is there. Have you done a speed test?

Yes it is telkom wimax,

I haven't done any speedtest, but it feels faster as my 384 adsl line which I used to have.) Just canceled my adsl with telkom and found out that the bastards charge you to downgrade from adsl to a normal line. (They do everything to suck you dry)

I will browse through the forums and will do some speed test later. But the guy who installed it said it was like the most perfect installation you could get. I am somehow not to far from the tower in wimax terms and have a perfectly clear line of sight
