"Greetings!
It has come to our attention that you are trying to sell/trade your personal World of Warcraft account(s).
As you may or may not be aware of, this conflicts with the EULA and Terms of Agreement.
If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled. It will be ongoing for further investigation by Blizzard Entertainment's employees.
If you wish to not get your account suspended you should immediately verify your account ownership. If the information is deemed accurate, the investigation will be dropped.
This action is taken because we at Blizzard Entertainment take these sales
quite seriously. We need to confirm you are the original owner of the account.
This is easiest done by confirming your personal information along with concealed information about your account.
You can confirm that you are the original owner of the account by replying to this email with:

Use the following template below to verify your account and information via email.
* First and Surname
* Date of birth
* Address
* Zip code
* Phone number
* Country
* Account e-mail

If you ignore this mail your account can and will be closed permanently. Once we verify your account, we will reply to your e-mail informing you that we have dropped the investigation.
We ask you to NOT change password until the investigation is fully completed.

lulz ...

Be prepared to be left naked in Tanaris :D

you should reply quick, don't wanna lose your account.

also cc me on the email, i know the mods and can get it to them quicker.

haha, i love the "do NOT change your password" line.

Anyone who's stupid enough to be caught out by this scam is probably far too stupid to be of any contributing value to WoW in the first place and its better their accounts be taken away from them! :)

+1 ... also got the mail.

I told em Boomrooker has an awsome account he wants to sell though. :D

Edit ** Just kidding boomie ;-)

Same mail here, Wonder if the Blizzard site was hacked or Myadsl?

What worries me... have you seen the reply to address ???

wowaccountadmin [[email protected]]

Its not one of those "misspelled" bilzzard email addresses they usually use... even the imbedded hidden mail link in HTML code is not there.

It actually looks like the mail will be routed to the blizzard.com and this is where they are making the mistake once again. Blizzard EU handles our accounts, not Blizzard in US.

Dunno how they do it this time... but surely Blizzard insists they will NEVER ask for your password, so I am ignoring it as per usual.

hahaha

been scammed like that
nearly fell for it... filled everything in... then just before i clicked send i was like WTF... why they asking me for this **** they already have it

Uhhh, got that last week as well. Even though I sold my account and it's registered under a different email address.

You will notice though when you hit reply, the email address changes to something else. Somehow they know how to make it look like it's from Blizz.

This is not from Blizzard , Its a hackers way of getting all your nice stuffz.

besides I read a msg soon as I logged in in the chat bar about this.

I just got one as well :p

What I want to know is, how did they get my email address and how did they know I play WoW? This was sent to my WoW email address which really scares me.
