No, it used to be called expansion packs and it added new stuff to the game long after release. It wasnt content or functionality ripped out in advance and later put back in for extra money.

I say the worst case of DLC is definitively the console version of Diablo 3 reaper of souls... You had to rebuy the entire game again with the addon included :erm: :wtf:
