Really hope it works as described.

Want to incorporate it into my Control4 system.

Is your 2nd tv in another room. I want to send my B channel via and HD/Cat6 extender to a TV in the lounge.

Cool. My distance is longer than 10m so I need to do it over Cat6. Sure it will be fine.

Small side note: I've discovered that some devices don't do the HDMI handshake correctly. I have HDMI extenders over cat6 to a matrix switch, all from HD Cabling. The Mede8er 500 or MViXs just won't handshake with the HD projector, though the PVR and BD player do over the same link. Frustrating. Now trying to find a decent media player that will work.

Have you tried swopping the cables about? Mine did that at one time, but renewing the plugs and swopping it about fixed it. It has been working for 5 years now

I will be connecting the HD PVR (4 tuner), Yamaha BDS671 Bluray, Xbox and Netgear NTV 550. All have been successfully tested through a Matrix (not this one) with Cat6 extenders and work. I also have a HP Microserver running XBMC in the mix which I might add in if any of the others dont work.

For a +30m run I used Cat6 cable. Didn't cost much more and worked first time. I think the distance was about 42 metres
