Just received sms from Telkom

That says I am in arrears of R2,161.87 and I have to pay immediately to avoid suspension...

Now the line is only used for ADSL... But it seems that they have my telephone number wrong, so I think its ment for someone else...

Waiting for the bill at end of month, but for now Im kind of stopping my downloads for incase...

Could be nothing could be something, I did report a fault with telkom last month and they emailed me back, saying that the account is capped... So maybe a flagged myself or something by doing that...

Thought I'd just give a heads-up

Telkom has an online billing system. Just sign up and access your bill through there, if they sent the SMS to the wrong guy, you should be able to confirm it there.
 
I agree, check the online bill thingy. Got one of those as well a few months back. Nearly crapped myself, but checked online and it was fine
 
Yes, you get through to 10210 quickly so no holding...just check now instead of sweating!
 
Im not sweating really... If its not my number its most probably not my problem...

I tried it via the online billing, but it said my account and number doesnt match (i tried my number and the one in the sms) so most probably its nothing to worry about...

BUT shouldnt it have shown on last months account anyway...
