I have only played WOW for about 6-8 hours and I must say I LOVE IT!
I created alot of characters, but I can't decide which one will be my main.

These are my chars:
Lvl 8 Hunter
Lvl 9 Rogue
Lvl 10 Warrior
Lvl 7 Warlock

I am thinking of rolling a shaman next:cool:

I want to know what is the highest type armour each class can wear and at what level?

Hunter: Leather, but can wear mail from level 40
Rogue: leather
Warrior: Mail, Plate after level 40
Warlock: Cloth
Paladin: Mail, palte after level 40
Shaman: Leather, Mail after level 40
Druid: Leather
Dk: Plate
Priest: Cloth
Mage: Cloth

Just note Paladins and Warriors can wear any armour :p

Well, highest will obviously be at level 80.

Armour doesn't really mean you'll enjoy the class.

You need to ask yourself the following:

Caster or Melee?
Healer/Tank/DPS?

Then you may ask what you like as in an assassin (rogue), a full on smach face (warrior), magic master (mage) etc etc :)

My favourite is Mage, but my main is now a Priest (for healing) due to server demands :p

I'm loving my new Pala. My second try at one and I can only say that they ROCK !

a Warrior with Priest healing and pack a punch like a shaman :p

Shaman and Hunter = easiest to level up ( for me anyways)
They do nice damage and can take their fair share of hits thanks to being able to wear Mail @ level 40.

Shamans hit bloody hard

Once you get WF weapon you slap everything up with no effort what so ever.
And ghost wolf is awesome for the levels between 20 - 30 :)

Before you listen to all our crap about what char is best, what does more damage than what, etc. May I suggest read the official class descriptions on www.wow-europe.com/en/index.xml Though the information may not be updated, it is one of the best resources to get an idea of what each class is all about (what armour, what primary role they should play etc). How to play the game, all about professions etc.
Second go to the official forums, can access it also through above link. Under each class there are some sticky about the class, read it ;)

When your done with all that create a hunter and enjoy the game ;)

And claim every item ingame is hunterloot and roll Need on that sexy spellpower trinket

But every ingame item have Huntha written all over it! You cannot deny that ;) Some gear looks cool, other have some utility, other you just take to annoy druids ;)

Yeah I can imagine how that sword with strength and parry will be good for hunters to avoid pressing feign death more often -.-

I share your hatred for hunters

We had a rogue the other day in who rolled need on a sword with defense "because it looks cool" sigh...noobs of today :p

Strength is the most important stat for a huntard! (well next to dodge, defense rating, parry and spell power ofc ;) ). Have you not seen the effect strength have on hunters? They walk around all buff and flex at all the hot Harris Piltons of the World... of Warcraft.

And yes my hunter have some swords with Strength on it, the coolest looking swords have strength on it ;) My addition to my sword collection is Armageddon from Naxx 25, this sword is the awesomeness of swords. It is HUGE!

Glad you used the example of a rogue... There are lots of idiots playing the game and I also hate ninjas that just need stuff. If no one else wanted the sword I have no problem with him taking it, its still better than to DE anything. Shard prises will be rock bottom soon again.

Err, Soul, rather go read those official forums for advice ..... ;)

As to a hunter, they are fun and easy to play with a few 'get out of trouble' skills.

Just to throw some more spanners in the works:

Some classes are more latency dependent than others.

Melee classes that need to be in melee range to do damage suffer the most from latency.

Casters like Warlocks do not suffer so much from latency as many of the spells is instant cast and do not need line of sight to continue to do damage.

So if you have a fast line with unshaped bandwidth, you can roll basically anything. If you don't want to spend extra money on low latency services and bandwidth, consider a caster class.
