I'm connected with a Billion 400G, Axxess Lite bandwidth (R19/Gb) and a sluggish 384kbps line. I generally use only about 3, sometimes 4, rarely 5, gigs a month. Of course, this is far less than what i would like, but anything more is really just out of the budget.
The Axxess 'justSurf Uncapped' has recently caught my attention not just because it's R100, but rather because it can be purchased from Pick n Pay or Engen. So I would be correct in saying that buying this 'voucher' would mean a once-off payment for a single month, no?
So for anyone who's tried or is informed about this justSurf Uncapped, what I would like to know is what [PS3] online gameplay is like, and if it is at all possible to get reasonable download speeds. I do understand that it will be slower.
I do not intend to use P2P sharing, as I know it's heavily shaped (I don't use P2P sharing because of my small cap and slow speeds, anyhow.)
Not worried too much about download speeds, but will the lag on online gaming be worse (than it already is?)
I have read the 'Axxess just Surf accounts' thread and so I'm not so eager to rush into this. Seems like just considering this is a bad idea. I'm also looking at OpenWeb's OpenBrowse Uncapped at R98. Is it any better? Will I be able to cancel the account after one month if I am unsatisfied?
