Never had mine freeze there.... turn off the power switch on the side of the TV, wat a minute or so and retry..
I'm having the same issue how do I fix it? Why does it do that?

I just took my 55 inch JVC "smart" TV LT-55N875 back to Game. Money back thank you.
What a horrible tv!!!!!! Resolution was horrible. The only time I would be able to get the "4K UHD" quality was only by using the HDMI option. Even that was not the greatest. The remote was useles. Definitely not a remote meant for a smart tv. It felt like I was playing PacMan in slow motion. No option to connect a smart tv keyboard to it. It kept losing the WIFI connection. Viewing YouTube or Netflix the image would stutter once in a while. It even came with a flyer warning for the user NOT to UPGRADE Skype or YouTube apps otherwise it wouldn't work on the TV. What a joke!!!!! It didn't even allow YouTube to view the resolution at more than 760. It could only pick up 2GHz signal, not 5Ghz. No option available for that.
JVC doesn't even have this model on their list of TV's. It's brought into this country via a company called NuWorld. In other words, it's a Fong King tv which gets a JVC badged slapped onto the TV. 'Grey Import' I think it's called.
Pity the uneducated will buy this kind of tv and think it's amazing!!
