JVC soundbar

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I bought a JVC Sound bar but not sure what the equalizer options are. When I hit the eq button then it cycles through eq01 and eq02 etc. What do these mean though? The model is TH-BY370

Probably just presets. Choose one that sounds best to you.

It may be just different equalizer presets - like pop, rock, jazz, classical, party - or it may alter the audio DSP settings, like Room, Hall, Church, Stadium, Theatre - the manual is not specific as to its functionality.

I had one, horrible sound, terribly muddy just horrible. Those EQ settings just make it less horrible, if I remember 93 or 95.
