well he's younger, thats for certain. wether he can reach the same heights as last year remains to be seen. i personally think he will better last season just as soon as he leaves manchester united...

Well as an milan fan to i dont mind ka.ka going for 107million.We can rebuild the entire squad.Get rid of the liks of PirlO , Seedorf , ambroshini , and those crap goalkeepers.Yoann gourcuff can replace k.a.k.a when been loan period expires as the end of the year.This guy's been the best player in france this season.There are also equally talented guys like Marek Hamsik from Napoli that we should try and buy.

is pirlo really playing that badly? I havet had the opportunity to watch much calcio, but i was under the impression that he wasnt doing too badly...
 
He rejected city. Seems the prospects of playing with bellamy and co wasn't what he wanted. Also not willing to take the risk of playing in the championship.

This either means he is staying at milan for life or waiting for real to come in with an offer in the summer.
 
Why would any top class player swap life at the San Siro for a relegation battle at man City:)

Gotta love Berlusconi trying to spin this as him being the hero. The fact of the matter is he was going to sell k a k a. K a k a rejected the move and milan fans who came out in huge numbers to protest the move on saturday and through the week had a big influence on him.

Most of the soundbites in the aftermath of ***á’s collapsed transfer to Manchester City have centred mainly around the reaction of his club-mates, his fans and football purists, all gushing about how relieved they are that the playmaker extraordinaire chose to stay a Milanista.

But AS, the Spanish sports-journal which began the rumours a few days ago that ***á turned down the move to City because he wanted to join Real Madrid, has picked up an interesting quote from the player himself.

“Either I stay at Milan or I join Real Madrid,” was what the 26-year-old reportedly told his father and representative, Bosco Leite.

The remark does little to suggest that the former FIFA World Player is craving for a move to the Spanish capital, but it does indicate that both he and Los Merengues now have the upperhand over Milan.

In previous years, the Rossoneri were always in control of the situation, turning down Madrid’s advances time and again while the attacking midfielder stood quietly by. But now, the tables have been turned as ***á realises that his club would not hesitate to cash in on him should the right bid come along, while the blancos recognise that a rare window of opportunity has just opened up for them.

But there’s more to it. AS is now speculating that there could be a second contender to challenge Madrid for ***á's signature: Barcelona.

The Blaugrana have not really declared any interest to bring the playmaker to the Camp Nou, but with the club about to have their elections soon, as do Madrid, potential candidates on both sides could use ‘Ricky’ as a pre-election promise to win the presidency.

Why the fck would they want a player who is so close to his expiry date is beyond me. I get the fact that Henry is a stop gap to Bojan/<insert next barca wunderkind> coming through and playing regular footy but ***a? WHY?!?!

Barca have shown no interest in him, they saying that he could be used a vote swayer for the coming election be the candidates.

Dude - give some credit to the Barca/Madrid politicians. They regularly keep their word... which would be wonderful if it happened in real life politics...
 
Thing is, these okes get elected when they make promises like.

That's wrong. Perez the man who brought zidane to madrid never promised him as an election present. He promised figo and brought him.
