I have a vodafone 3g modem (K3565-Z) with an MTN simcard, I do use the 500MB vodacom bundle that is allocated and then use my 2Gig MTN bundle, so I do swop the simcards.

Currently I use normal dial up connection (XP SP3) to connect to MTN. I would like send USSD data in order to see what is the balance etc. I have downloaded the MDMA app available on the forums but it does not pick it up - maybe because it is ZTE?

Also when I remove the stick while the laptop is still active I get a blue screen and have to restart.

Any help/comment?

That's right. I'm currently working on support for ZTE devices.

Sounds like shoddy drivers.

There's a thread over in the Vodacom sub-forum about installing the original ZTE dashboard. It may be worth a try.
