Ever since i bought my usb stick it connects for a few minutes then disconnect.
I took it to Faziz in Canal Walk Vodacom Customer Care the other day and he had it on an Apple notebook and it stayed connected no problem.
I did a sim swop from 32k to 64k and that also didn't solve the problem.
Now to my pc settings.
Windows 64bit Core i3 4g ram with almost no software on it other than windows.
I plug the stick directly into the pc's usb port.
After it installs the device drivers I go into Device manager and in the modems properties i uncheck the option where the pc can make the device go to sleep in the power management tab
I use at+cgdcont=1,"IP","Unrestricted" in advanced setting, internet or unrestricted gives same disconnect results.
So i'm just wondering what i'm missing. It did the same when I was on xp.
It does the same on other windows machine. From the beginning Vodacom said there's nothing wrong with it and after the Apple test I can believe so.
So what am i missing.
