Hi.

This question has most likely been answered a few thousand times on this forum but which K53 learners book is the best for preparing for the motorcycle learners license and where can I get it?

Regards.

Have you booked yet?
What is the process?

The last time I did a license it was to ride an ox wagon from Cape Town to Potchefstroom (although we hadn't named it yet).

Go to your nearest testing center, have a copy of your ID, ID Photos, and a couple hundred bucks (depends on your province the amount). Book a test date. (I had to do an eye test on the day I booked my learners test)

This, although just to add to this - take a pen, sucks having to borrow one and they typically don't have any.
Also, I only needed the ID photos on the day of the test, not when doing the booking.

+1 people always forget the pen

I've booked at Waltloo in Pretoria. Sat in the queue for 3 - 4 hours from 07:00. You need black and white ID photos, copy of your ID and R108. Process as follows: Stand in queue for booking. Make booking. Stand in queue for eye test. Do eye test. Stand in queue for payment. Make payment. Basically, put in a day's leave if your going to make a booking at a busy testing station.
