Kalahari.com 24hr delivery deception

So I placed an order on Monday evening for some stuff from the 24hr delivery category. Now as the site states the order must be placed before 12pm for delivery the next day, in main centers. So that essentialy means that my 24 hrs starts on Tuesday at 12pm. I should logically expect my stuff by Wednesday at 12pm. Now what I find completely deceptive is the fact I get an sms this morning saying my order will be delivered within 24hrs of today.an entire day later. I am in a main center slap bang in the middle of joburg. And there should be no reason for a delay. I mean why promise 24 hr delivery if youcan't give it....
I use kalahari a lot... but this is a minus1... I 'm disappointed

Same happened to me with a pre order.

I even got an email saying my order had shipped but was missing the metal case or something that was free with pre orders and that part would be sent later. I never got the metal case and they only shipped the game sometime the next week.
 
I paid with credit card, so payment confirmation was immediate, order was place monday evening, so kalahari had a reasonable amount of time to prepare the order etc... its not like a placed the order 2 mins before 12pm, the order was placed the night before.
 
24hrs IS actually a little off, as it usually makes to my office the next morning before 12pm, but sometimes its a bit later like 3pm. But as long as 24hrs means next working day before I leave the office I dont mind.
But ya, they should change it to NEXT WORKING DAY like it says on amazon.

Dude, you do realise 12pm is like lunch time, not midnight which is 12am right?

Maybe they use UTi and your order is buried under an avalanche of iPads ;)
 
Mostly I have experienced great service from Kalahari... even had a delivery inside of 24 hours from time of order placed/paid. I have no complaints or gripes with them.
 
I placed an order for 24hr product (gps) and it was delivered the next day. Had no problem (also stay in major JHB area).
All the orders from them so far has been delivered by FedEx.
 
Stuff arrived this morning.... kalahari are good, I'm just not happy with how the 24 be delivery works... rather say 48 hr delivery... its always better to underpromise, and overdrive....
