I ordered 5 items from kalahari 4 had 24 hour delivery but one item was longer. A few days later I checked delivery status and it was much later then the longest item so I called Kalahari who told me they would happily split the order and I would receive the delivery with in 2 working days i called 2 working days later only to be told the order has not been split and he would split the order now and I would receive email confirmation I never received email confirmation so I tried twitter with no luck just the standard response they will look into the issue and an apology.
I believe all services follow a formula to deal with customers they have a bumbling call centre that when you call they all friendly but don't actually do any thing, twitter is the new way to get a quick response but still no results and when the company you are dealing with work out that you are one of the few people who don't like to wait for a reply saying they will look into the issue and get back to you soon (soon being never) they just ignore you. My first tweet was replied to in under 30 minutes and my later tweet actually asking for information has not been replied to hours later.
Sadly there is nothing for the customer to do but wait and suffer with shoddy service.

This is why I use Takealot.

I've actually been quite happy* with Kalahari over TA for the past few orders. No issues. No Problems. All delivered.

*Except when I want something pre-ordered I still only use TA.

Kalahari has been awesome to me so I can't complain. I prefer Takealot, just always been a fan. But Kalahari is a close second

The only upper hand Kalahari have going is their Amazon relations and limited integration as per e-commerce level. Takealot got their Amazon relationship sunk... In SA they are the competitors striving to be on top.
