It can transfer to your flashdrive at insertion time. No download necessary.How do you get trojans? What sites do you visit? The sites I tend to visit never have trojans. If I really want trojans I have to go on astalavista
and do a search for a keygen and those sites plus the keygen usually turns
out to be a trojan. Do you also download .exe's from Bittorent sites?
I've used McAfee Enterprise and no viruses. I disabled that and installed ESET Trial and scanned and no viruses. I later installed the Kaspersky
trial updated and scanned, no viruses.It all depends what you download I guess. I guess virus writers don't target obscure visual novels

I supply AVG Free to all of my customers who qualify (i.e. single computer, home user) An internet cafe DOES NOT qualify for the free software and the owner should be on the receiving end of a LART!
That said, I find the free version of AVG is more than adequate for the majority of people for whom I work. Personally I have a 10 pc license for my workshop and I've yet to have a problem with either a virus or malware.
I tried Bitdefender but found it intrusive and it did slow my testing machine (an older P4) to a crawl. I confess to not spending a lot of time playing with the config.
I don't like Norton, in any flavour, at all. It is a resource hog of note and can be damned difficult to uninstall.
Zone Alarm, when it works, is OK but the only way to get if off your pc is to format! Which does detract somewhat from the appeal. It also had an update issue (I think there was a version update or something) a while back which caused endless problems for those using the free version. I prefer Comodo.

In fact, I am able to uninstall and install a 15 day demo version again if I really want to. PM me if you need to know how.

I've not worked with ZA in a while now. The last encounter I had with it was probably about 18 months ago and it was a real nightmare. I'm glad that they've fixed the uninstall issue because it was really a big problem at the time.
