ok, KDE 4.2 ROCKS!!!!
Quick question, compiz fusion has option where you normally press special key + e, and you can drag windows across v-desktops, anybody know how to do it in kde 4.2?
On the other hand, I can't get proper window bars in compiz fusion after I installed 4.2, not even in gnome.

It seems from previous posts that KDE and compiz does not play nicely.
If you open a console and use htop you will see that there are quite a few plasma processes running, they do not play nicely with compiz, so kill them off and you should be settled.
AS for the dragging of windows, have a look in the Desktop settings, if it is not there then I'm afraid you'll have to wait a little longer.
